How to log into Google Docs

LOGGING IN

After you’ve created a Google Account, you can use it to log into Google Docs.

(1) To log in, either go directly to http://docs.google.com or open a Google search page and select Documents from the dropdown menu under More, as shown below.

(2) Fill in your account info and sign in.

(3) Once you’re logged in, you’ll see the standard Google Docs interface. If no one has shared anything with you yet, your home directory will be empty. You can create or upload new documents or create new collections. If someone has shared a file or collection with you, you’ll see that in your home directory.

ACCESSING SHARED COLLECTIONS

To access a shared collection, click on the small triangle to the left of Collections Shared with Me, as shown below.

Then click on the title of the collection and you’ll see its contents appear in the main list view. Click on a document to open it.
