Comments by Amy: What I particularly like is how the animation allows the student to tell a personal story without having to divulge anything too private, since it’s obviously not the literal story of what happened to him as a kid. But it sends a strong message about the consequences of gender policing and is compelling in a way that wouldn’t have come through from text alone.
